“Dr. Donna has been my naturopathic physician for the past 9 years. I am presently 69 years old, married, a grandmother and embarking on a new and very exciting phase of my life.

The counsel I receive from Donna encompasses my physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. I consider Donna not only an astute medical practitioner, but a dear friend as well! Her compassion and caring come from a deep, authentic place and it is from that place that she administers a program to meet my specific needs. We have phone sessions every 5-8 weeks.

Each session includes time to discuss my immediate emotional issues of family and work so that she has a whole picture of where I am at that present moment. She then administers and adjusts supplements that fit my needs, specifically.

In the summer of 2009, I arrived at Donna’s doorstep, after a winter in St. Augustine. Fl. I had lost a great deal of weight and had major digestive and bowel issues. With Donna’s assistance I began to look at deep family issues. I took the time to begin a much needed healing process on the physical, emotional and spiritual level. A colonoscopy revealed Chrone’s. I took Western medicine for 5 weeks and on Donna’s recommendation then went to a special diet and supplements. Since 2009, I have not had a single inflammation signifying Chrone’s.

I now weigh 127 lbs., an ideal weight, and am embarking on a new phase of my life, along with my husband, to assist the elder population, 60 plus, in finding their voice, vision, vitality and value through greater brain wellness. Before I had seen Donna Caplan, I had been seriously trying to find someone who could heal me for about 12 years or more.  I went to some of the best western medicine doctors in the country and they all said I had to accept my conditions, that there was not much they could do.  I had given up on western medicine at this point.  Finally, 2 naturopaths and a Chinese Medicine practioner helped with with some of my issues but I was still having serious problems.  Then I met Donna.  She is amazing.  She is the only person who has really been able to help me with most of my health issues.  There are so many issues that I have, it is quite complicated.  But she was able to address them in their entirety.  She was the only doctor who has been able to find so many medicines that work for me, since my body doesn’t tolerate many things. I had tried probably 30 medicines for my stomach, 50 medicines for the other issues.  I spent so much money on meds that I had to throw away.  The medicines she has chosen work for me.  It is amazing.  I realize it can be difficult to pay for a doctor out of pocket but I tell you, I have saved money (in the long run) working with her.  So after about 15 doctors and 80 or so medications, finally someone has been able to help me.  I feel so much better now.  I was so sick when I first saw her.  Thank you so much Donna!

Donna Caplan, ND is a very talented, intuitive naturopathic physician and she was instrumental in the healing of my son from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was diagnosed at the age of 6 3/4 in 2007 while under her care and she not only came to the hospital daily and designed a complementary protocol to the legally mandated chemotherapy regiment, but also arranged for an interview with her meditation teacher, Garchen Rinpoche.

There is no doubt that Dr. Donna Caplan changed the trajectory of my life. I began seeing her in 2002. If I had started earlier, I might have avoided significant surgery, but at least I can credit her with helping me recover from that surgery and an undoubtedly-related systemic yeast infection.
